WOOT WOOT GREENIE!

so i got my new greenie!!! or a mini missionary its only for 5 days and it has been insane!!!! good and bad!
so i learned quick that my mini missionary has a little anger probs.... reminded me of myself before the mission.
so i was pumped to help him over come that by putting him to WORK!!!! normally every missionary gets up at 6:30 but we get up at 5:30 so that made him mad, then we dont eat lunch, that made him mad. hahaha.
so for the first 2 days he was flustered. But now hes loving it!!!!!!! we have seen some amazing miracles!!!!
we just had all our lessons fall through and we prayed to find someone and the first door we knocked on was a 16 year old kid who 2 weeks ago we gave his older brother a book of mormon and kyle ( the little brother ) said they have been reading the book of mormon together every night!!!! like who does that?!!! its amazing!!! so we got in and tought a 15min resto and Jason the mini misisonary was just bearing hard core testamony!!!!!!!! and kyle the little brother totally accepted baptism.
then we ran over to our other investogators and set 2 more dates with them and jason was freaking out he said " i have never been so happy in my life!!!!!!!" and since that day he has never gotten mad, and some funny things have happened to him.

first story we were walking down an apartent complex when this lady comes out and asks us if we are mormon and jasons says "Yeah we are!!!!!" ( in a reallly proud and confident manner) and the lady walks to him and hocks a loogie in his ear!!!!! hahah not just a small bit but a full loogie!!! i dropped down laughing expexcting for him to scream back or do anything back but nope he laughed and what made him laugh even more was the fact that he dident get mad. as hes smiling with a loogie in his ear he says " wow that was weird im not even mad!!" haha the spirit is real!!!

there some other sweet experiences that happened but sorry family short letter today love you all!!! thatnks for everything!! love you all!

A Christmas Miracle!!!Sister Lindmeir

Christmas was so great! Sister Faulkner and I made a whole bunch of cookies and handed out to our Investigators and the people that we thought might need some. On our way to drop off some cookies, we parked across the street from a trailer Park, where perhaps we should not have parked. when we got out of the car this lady across the street said you probably shouldn't park there, we were like okay we will move but before we moved we started talking to her and she was like "oh my, i love the LDS it has the best Geneology ever" we Told her about the family history center and she was so thrilled! He name is Feonna and she is from Ireland and she has the best accent ever! Apparently people from Ireland love family history so much! She said we could come back the next day and tell her more about it and give her the address. On Friday we came back and we thought that Feonna was just interested in the family history but when we sat down she asked us if we could share a message with her. We were like oh ya! we taught Feonna the restoration and soft committed her to baptism and she accepted. We left her with 3 Nephi 11 to read which is when Jesus Christ appears to the people in the America's and teaches them. We told Feonna that we were going to be in the area on saturday and asked if it was alright if we could follow up with her reading, she said okay. we came back on saturday and Feonna was waiting for us, she let us in and there were tears in her eyes. She kept apologizing that she was crying but she couldn't help it because of the way she felt as she read the Book of Mormon. She went on and on about when Christ taught the people in the America's. She told us that when she read that chapter she said that she felt like positive energy light orbs were touching her as she read. It was an amazing lesson with her! We told Feonna that we are having a baptisimal service on january 17th and before we could even ask her to prepare herself for that date, she said "wow January 17th, i will prepare myself for that day". It was so cool!

Then yesterday Feonna came to church and she loved is so much! The whole time she was like, wow this is so fascinating and interesting! then at church she kept telling everyone how the Lord led us Girlies (thats what she calls us) to her and she told us that she thinks why she was led to move here away from Ireland was because of this! She felt such a pull to come here! Then during relief society she was making all the ladies laugh because she is hilarious and her accent is awesome! after relief society tons of the women came up to her and were like we love you so much Feonna already! we hope you come next week! She said that she will!
Feonna is a miracle! When we first met her, we would have never even thought that she was so prepared. It is so great that Heavenly Father truly puts you in the path of the prepared! Feonna is so great and we already love her so much and so does the ward!

So many miracles are happening and i am loving the work! We got transfer calls last week and i get to stay! i am so happy!!! This area is where i first began my mission life and it is going to be where i end it. i am so glad Heavenly Father let me come back and that i get to witness these miracles. I love you so much everybody and i hope that you have a great week! Love Sister Lindmeir

I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!!Sister Lindmeir

I love Christmas so much because so many people desire to come closer to our Savior! i have never had so many people let us come inside and share a message about Christ then the past few weeks! What is so cool is that they are letting us come back and teach them more! This
season is truly the time to be jolly! Do you all remember the family that i told you about last week that God led us to Sunday night? The Bergdawl family? well they are doing so awesome! They are such a humble family and they barely have anything but they love the Lord so much! We are so excited for Christmas for them because they don't know this, it is going to be a surprise! butthe YSA branch that we cover wanted to sponsor a family for Christmas that we are teaching. We decided that the Bergdawl Family would love that! The YSA is is providing presents for this family who would have gotten nothing but still would have been happy.

I am really grateful that i get to have another Christmas out in the field my eyes are truly opened and i can see what Christmas is about. I am so grateful to have all that i have. Almost everybody we teach has nothing. Money, a Christmas tree, presents, and yet they are happy because they have our Savior. I really know that Jesus Christ is the gift that our Father has Given us. I know that true joy, happiness, and peace, can only be given through him. I know that "Christ is the Light and the life of the world; yea, a light that is endless, that can never be darkened; yea, and also a life which is endless, that there can be no more darkness". -Mosiah 16:9 Christ is the light. he is the way.
I hope all of you have an amazing Christmas! Family, if you can reach out and help somebody this week who has nothing and share the light and wish them a Merry Christmas, then i know that you will feel what Christmas is all about and i promise that it will be the best Christmas you will ever have. I know that because i feel it all the time! Honestly i can't ever stop smiling because of the joy i feel everyday! I love you all so much! Merry Christmas! Love Sister Lindmeir

Here is a question to think about this week: What Gifts has Christ given you? What can you in return give to him?

whats up the family!!!!!???

so this week was legit! but I forgot most of what happened but ill do my best to remember.
alright hmm the first thing is we had our meeting we made and totally threw down and honestly it was supper spiritual we talked about "the culture of our mission" and also on "Baptism" and on "Member work" by the end of the meeting we got all the missionaries so stoked to do member work! something that has been on my mind lately is how we can help everyone become more confident, and as I prayed about this I totally received some revelation on a practice we gave to our missionaries and it really has built them up.
"Confidence is the outward expression of ones faith"- Elder lindmeir- hahah I totally made that up isent sweet haha

ok so after an awesome day of work we get a call from elder rivers and elder bringurst telling us that they locked themselves outside there apartment, so we went to pick them up around 9:30 and we spent 30 minutes re tracing there steps to find there apartment, and couldent find them and then we go back to there apartment and there on the second story of this complex and so elder rivers climed on the wall as I pushed him up to get to up on his porch and the back door was locked and we realized that it was like a 20 foot jump he would have to make to get back down and man was he sketched! especially since the landing is next to a tree with a bunch of roots everywhere. so I looked in other people back yards and grabbed a nice pillow and a slab of carpet so he could land on. and it worked... so then by 10:40 we get to our place I give them all my bedding and I slept with a sheet on the floor. and got like 3 hours of sleep and got up at 5:30 made breakfast and then i wrote my talk for sacrament meeting, and i just knew i couldent do it alone and relied on the lord to help me and everything went awesome i wrote my talk and the spirit led everything that i said during it. it was awesome i through down on the book of Mormon and how it testifies of jesus Christ.
but the greatest thing about this week was i got a call and Roy brady got baptized! it was awesome to see that the whole family is coming together now!!!!!

the video he is the gift, is absolutely true and amazing. i know he is the gift, and there is no cure for a broken heart regret, or sadness other than through him. his Gospel heals everything. Because he is the gift we will all enjoy this Christmas.
love you all have an awesome week!!!!!!!

Miracles! Miracles! Miracles!

Have you ever been so swollen in your heart filled with gratitude that you cant stop yourself from crying with joy? this is how i felt all week!
Miracle #1: So Friday night we had an appointment with a less active lady in our ward but she didn't answer the door but while we were waiting this lady across the street comes out of her door and so we go over and start talking to her. She let us in her house and while we were getting to know her she just started crying when she told us about her life. She has had such a hard life, and the only thing that keeps her going is her dog. She told us that she had no reason to be here and live anymore. She told us that everyday she prays that God will just take her away so that she can have happiness. It was really sad but so comforting to know how much the Gospel can help her! We invited her to church and she came and loved everything about it and even started to cry and just felt so loved! Her name is Rhonda and i just love her so much! We have just met with her a couple times since Friday but we have so much love for her because she is just the sweetest old thing ever! I know that she is somebody i knew from the premortal life!

Miracle #2: On saturday while we were tracking, we met this guy named Nathan who used to be a hardcore druggy and he even got shot in the head and should have died but he didn't! He has totally changed his life around and loves God so much! He also came to church on Sunday and loved it so much! He said that he has already put church in his calender for next week because he wants to come again.

Miracle #3: Sunday night we were going to see  Linda and Chava but they were Sick so we decided to try by their neighbors which was 8:40 at night. We knock on the neighbors door and the wife let us right in! She let us sit down and all the kids gathered around to hear what we had to say. They have 5 kids and they are the most humble family ever! they love our Savior so much! They barely have anything but they have so much faith and they know that God is going to take care of them! We shared a message about Christ with them and they said they were so excited for us to come back to teach them more!

Miracles have been pouring out upon our area! The lord led us to 11 new investigators last week and every single one of them is so solid! It has been awesome! We have been working hard and the Lord has been blessing us like crazy! I really think that it's this time of year because so many people our feeling the love of our savior and our wanting to come unto him!

I love you all! Have a great week! Oh and Family, a surprise is headed your way and should be hand delivered on Monday next week! :)

Sister Waverli Lindmeir

Last week was such a great week! I don't have a lot of time today because we went to the temple this morning and we still have to finish all of our preparation day things. The temple was amazing though. I always love going. When you go there, there is no way that you could deny that it is the House of our Father because of it's beauty and the way that you feel when you go!

I wish i had more time to share because things are going so great but here is just one experience that just made me so happy because we were truly exactly where God wanted us to be in the very moment he needed us!  So Sister Faulkner and I were driving to an investigators house for an appointment around 7:00 at night and on our way we saw this lady crying on the side of the road. we immediatly stop roll down the window and ask her if she needs help. She said no i am good, but obviously she wasn't good. so we Jumped out of our car and went and sat by her for a minute and she told us that she was really okay, so we got up so that we could give her our number and a card and then she saw our name tag and Said "Oh my Goodness you are Missionaries!" When she knew that, she literally fell into our arms and started sobbing. She told us that she was baptized 3 years ago and that she had fallen away but wanted to start coming back. She Kept asking us how we knew she was going to be there. She was amazed that out of everybody that could have been there and stopped it was the missionaries. We told her that God led us to her. God truly loves every single one of us no matter what we have done, no mattter who we are, he loves us all the same.

Nothing fills you with more Joy then when you get to be an instrument in the Lords hands! It truly was the best day ever and we can't wait to help her to start coming back! I am filled with so much Joy that God lets me be his servant. i love serving him!

Things are going really great! We had an investigator family come to church on sunday! we were so excited! things are good! Love you all!

mission life!!!!Elder Lindmeir

This week is totally legit!!!!!!!!!
Alot of things happened, like always. but im going to have to make this email short because we have to plan a really long meeting so ill make it quick just know i love you all so much!!!!!
but the Highlights for the week!!!
#1
we totally poicked up the awesome family this week and one of the daughters is best friends with a member in our ward and we tought the family 6 times this week and she is ready for baptism on saturday and hopefully the whole family can slowly see her example and change and prepare for baptism. there such a great family and we totally love them already the mom is like 350 pounds and she is hillarious her husband left her like a year ago and there grandpa who came in to be there father figure just passed away and it really has torn there family apart, and our ward is inviting them to activities and doing everything they can to help there family and you can see the love thats comming back into the family, becasue at first the mom wouldent even talk to s about anything and now her heart is softening and everything is doing great!!!!
#2
tought Brian and Shanda this week and they are the most solid couple. i talked about them the other day. shanda is the member and brian is the investigator, he was the one who loved the book of mormon so much he dident even care were the gold plates were.
well anyways we tought him this week and we tought the gospel of jesus christ and as we were teaching we get to the holyghost, and shanda just starts balling, and while shes cry brian stopps us in the middle of the lesson and he says" i am feeling the spirit so strong right now that i could brake this table in half! " and he just breaks down crying it was an amazing experience and in the middle of it i just throughout the law of chasity becasue there not married and they now know they need to get married before his baptism and there stoked!!!! so they will be praying to see when they can do it. also they read everymorning for 30min and during lunch together and dinner together everyday for the last 2 weeks and they pray together and there whole life is changing!!! i could go on for days about them there just so great!!!
i love you gusy so much!!! the gospel of jesus christ is real and it only takes an experiment!
love you all!

The Mission Life!!!!!

This week was legit!!! hope you all like my videos although they probobly were not as funny as before, just dident have time haaha thats funny how that works. you feel like theres no way you could work harder and smarter and then you hit a total different level of hardness. i feel thats were i am at but there deffinitly more levels for me to hit.
alrighty there was some awesome things that happened this week!!!!!!!!
#1
we had zone activity and it was legit!!!! my comp and i totally came up with the idea that morning and we ran to home depot and totally bought like 6 poles of PVC Pipe and bought 12 bags of marshmellows!!!!!
- we went to the church after making all the guns and we set up the sickest battleground in the gym we totally used all the tables and chairs, chalk boards and everything and when you would walk in it looked like a real battle feild.
- the whole zone came we got them so stoked!!!!!!!! everyone had a blast and we had the most epic marchellow battle for like 2 hours until there were marshmellows everywhereon the ground..... and then we cleaned it all up!!!!! it was awesome.

#2
we had another visit from elder Ballard and he is just the greatest guy! hes 86 years old and has more energy than 60% of the missionaries. hes a stud. he talked to us about leadership in the church and how it only gets harder and harder after the mission but there were a few things that really stook out to me when he was talking. he told us how he was able to deal with all of his callings he has had and especially how tiring it can be. he said the secret and he was crying as he held up a pocket size picture of jesus christ and he said " everytime i feel tired and weak i look at this picture and realise its his work, and as i get up to serve i feel him carry me every step of the way." something else he told us that i really liked was " whenever you think you cant do something or you feel weak take your mind to gethsemine and i promise if you are really want the help he will carry you.
- it was an awesome experience to have!

#3 thanksgiving!!! i hate thanksgiving haha the only reason was because all of our investigators went out of town so we had this whole week to find new people to teach wich was good but there was alot of uneccary walking but some sweet things happened.
the other night we were walking to our car to leave an apartment complex and we see this dude sitting down next to the pool late at night and we just simply asked him if he had 10minutes to spare that we could share our message with him and he said yeah and we sat next to him. a little background on this guy hes cacasion totally white and has tattoes from chest to toes, and is a total gangster. like a real Gangster, while we were talking her turned around and stood up and whistled and started to through up some sign language but it was his own language that his gang made up. pritty sick right?? so we started to talk and he was telling us how he is trying to change his life around and he has had all these crazy experiences in his life, and especially alot of sin in his life. he told us alot of the things he has done and as he kept talking about all these things we answered his questions and tought alot of the gospel of jesus christ to help him feel like he can change and be forgiven. we tought him alot of things and at the end he is totally down to learn more buthe has some big things he needs to get over first but at the end he grabbed my companions book of mormon and started to draw in it. It was so sick he is a Gangster artist/ tattoo artist and just wrote his name and drew like 3 little doodles in his book and after her was done with his he drew in my book of mormon and in like 3 minutes he has a nice master piece. it was cool to see how much talent are in some people and becasue of bad mistakes it brings them down from there true potential.

#4 last night we had to walk everywhere because we ran out of miles to use and at around 8:20 after talking with 55people we meet this guy dustin who totlally let us teach him and he is a great guy who is just searching for the truth and so we tought him the restoration and it really helped him answer his question and it helped feel closer to god. so were totally stoked to see where this taked us.

we had some awesome miracles this week and the biggest thing was to just expect a yes from everyone and be totally stoked!!! because this is the greates message in the world. thanks for everything family love you all!!!
Elder Lidnmeir

Great week in the WKM!

Thanksgiving was awesome! We got to spend it, doing some service, had thanksgiving lunch with the Stake President and his family, and then Thanksgiving dinner with Cindy Killen and her Husband! You all probably don't remember me talking about her in the very first emails i sent you in the mission field but it's been good to be back to see her, and help her prepare for the temple! I love her a lot! I was so full at thanksgiving! I was glad i wore my most stretchiest dress! it was a great week!

This whole week has all been pretty great! Even though Sister Faulkner and i were in meetings 20 hours last week and had thanksgiving we were able to really kill it still! We seriously went Bananas, and digged and scratched to reach the goals that we had set! we met some awesome people and had a lot of great lessons!

Our investigator Joy who is on date for baptism for December 27th is doing really good! We taught her the 15 step program to quit smoking in seven days last week and she was so excited about it! When we had her read the Declaration of independence that says i promise to follow each step for 7 days perfectly so that i can be a non-smoker and some other things like that. She said right after, "Sisters give me a pen now." we gave a pen and she signed it and gave us the copy, and we were like, Joy that copy is for you, She said "Sisters i want you to have a copy also, so that you both Will know that i will be a non smoker in 7 dyas"! she was super firey about it! It was so awesome!  she is just so ready to quit smoking! she has been smoking since she was 13 years old. She knows that through her faith in Christ, she can do this!

We are teaching some great families and people right now, the area has been picking up so much and it has really been cool to see! It was a dead area and now it is getting better! The ward is really starting to get more involved in the work also and they love going out with us to go and see and help our investigators!

Things are really good! I love you all! Love Sister Lindmeir

VISTA!!!!!

Hey family so i got transfered to Vista 5th ward!!! woot woot! this area is so tiny so i am pumped to teach everyone here!!!!! ya its the best although i totally miss valley center, already.... there will always be a place in my heart for good old country valley center.
first off my new companion is elder Orgill he was my zone leader when i was a new missionarry and i looked up to him like no other so its cool to be his comp. hes pritty awesome i mean hes a boss probobly like the most spiritual man i know. a quick story about how spiritual he is. i get into the area and the # sheets for our zone are all mis placed and just supper badly organized and i was supper suprised since you know how amazing this elder was so everymorning i would wake up earlier and fix it all and study the # to decide what we should train these missionaries on and how we all together as missionaries can increas this work and after i came up with 3 ideas Elder Orgill just tells me this. " i really dont look at the # and stuff but i just pray about it, and so he did and he came up with the exact same 3 things as me. you know im glad i did the work but its cool to see what revelations the lord gives us when we are truely asking and seeking.
o yeah so my comp only has 6 weeks to before he goes home. so thats kind of funny how that worked out.

this week was full of miracles and ill tell you a couple that i remeber the best.
#1 we were driving down the road in ome apartment complexis and im driving and i see this kid walking and as were about to pass him i roll down my window to let my comp talk and we talk to him and we schedual an appointment for that night at 8 and we showed up tought him about the Restoration and he accepted to work, and repent and change his ways to follow christ!
#2 we have an investigator named Brian and wow hes a straight up boss!!! his girl freind is a member but is inactive. as we are teaching him about the restoration he just feels the spirit so strongly and just new it was true and as his girlfriend walks in he goes up to her and tells her about the book of mormon and says along the lines of " did you know that the book of mormon is the word of god from the americas?? " and he kept going on and on and his girl friend just asks him " what about your questions? like were are the gold plates?" and Brian says " well what about the 10 commandments?? i dont care, this is the evidence!" it was awesome to truely see what the excitement of the message of the restoration really gave him.
also we tought him the plan of salvation with the word of wisdom, because he drinks and smokes and drinks coffee. and this time when we are teaching him his girlfriend joined the lesson and as we tought the word of wisdom everything just clicked with him, and it was so funny because that was on sunday morning and he had a cup of coffee in his hands while we were teaching and after he heard the word of wisdom he totally commited to live it and the funniest part about it his girl friend was like " why do we have to stop drinking coffee? coffee is good for you???" and before we even answer brian says " its a commandment from god besides whats the worse thing that coukd happen? i mean when we die and god looks to judge us atleast we can say we gave up coffee for him." it was so awesome this mans faith insprires me to be believeing and to live every commandment to the fullest!
#3 this was the highlight for the week!!!! so the last week we finally got one of our members friends do go to church and he absolutly loved it!!! and the night i got transfered they tought him and he excepted to get baptized! and hes getting baptized next week!!! in 10 days he totally changed his life. and yesterday i went back to valley center for someone and i saw blake and he was so appreciative for us pushing the member to invite him to church and it was so cool tosee that awesome miracle!!!!! the work is true and it totally means the world to me to be here and to give a just a little bit of my time for people to have an eternity to enjoy ythere life. i love you alll the gospel of jesus christ is the only way to feel true happiness in this life. love you all!!!

I'm Staying!

It was crazy to find out on Saturday when transfer calls came that i am actually staying here in West Richland! I am so glad that i get to stay though because i know that my work here is not finished yet. Sister Jessee my companion is leaving though. She is going to Moses Lake. I was sure that i was going to send her home. Sister Jessee just has just 6 weeks left on her mission so we were so suprised to hear that she is leaving! I am receiving Sister Faulkner and i hear that she is a hard worker so I can't wait!

I don't have a lot of time to write today but here is something really cool that happened! So one of the sets of Sister Missionaries that Sister Jessee and i serve have really struggled finding people to teach in their area. In the past 6 weeks they hadn't found one new investigator. This really puzzled me because these Sisters are really obedient Sisters and they work really hard! Sister Jessee have been praying a lot to know how we could help them. Then i remembered a story that i think it was Kiana did. What she did on her mission with her district is they said a faithful prayer together and then they went out for an hour and did all they could to find people to teach. Sister Jessee and i presented the idea to the Mission President and he said we could try it!

Sister Jessee and i call it the "Faithful Hour"! So when Sister Jessee and i met up with the Sisters we both acted overly excited and pumped and ready to go filled with the faith of knowing God would provide these Sisters to Find Someone to teach. We Said a faithful Humble Prayer that God would lead these Sisters to Find Someone to teach. The Sister I went with had chose and prayed about a street to go on the night before when we go there, My heart dropped a little. The street we were going to tract on was only filled with these huge houses! i brushed it aside and just knew that God would provide for these Sisters to find somebody to teach. We start Knocking on the doors and door after door, slammed in our faces. We didn't even have time to say anything. Then when people did let us speak they would just start bashing. We had about 5 minuted left and i asked Sister Larsen Which door do you think needs us. She pointed at a house and we went to it. The person answered the door and was nicer but not interested. I didn't want to go back just yet because we both felt that someone was ready there. In the middle of the driveway we said a prayer that God would help us to know where to go. As we ended our prayer we heard someone rolling their garbage can down the driveway, we both knew that this was an answer to our prayer! We went to go talk to this person. His name is paul and as we were talking to him, he was like my wife and i have actually been looking for a church to go to! We taught him a brief restoration and gave him a book of Mormon and prayed with him, and set a return appointment. He is awesome!!

It is sooo cool that with faith anything is truly possible! God, is a God of miracles but only works according to our faith. It was a really cool experience and we were all filled with grattitude that God really helps us find people to teach!

Love you all! Love Sister Lindmeir

GETTING TRANSFERED!!!!!!!!! after 6 months!Elder Lindmeir

yeah got the call there kicking me out hahaha! dang is it hard to leave an area were so much happened and such a great place were so many memories and miracles have happened..... but I am PUMPED!!!! to go into a new area and to kill it and give it everything!!!!!!! ewww im so ready!!!! this area has tought me by far the most out of any area, I have learned to be Bold, Confident and a simple teacher and to always be focused on the work so with this and everything else plus the lord great things are going to come!

honestly a lot happened this week but the biggest thing that I learned this week is just what an impact we have on peoples lives and how with the calling that we have that we are able to take control of situations and people accually listen, to 2, 20 year olds. got a couple of stories that happened this week about what im talking about.

Story #1 we heard a party going on in the trailor park and heard like a bunch of hespanics having a party so of course we decided to go and meet with them and when we get there we soon find out that theres a birthday party going on for accually one of the people we have tought before and we introduced ourselves the everyone at the family party and we ate tacos and just started to teach this whole family and half way through two more hespanics come and join in and one of them is a pastor for his church and has been to school and studying religion for 14 years!!! when he showed up theres two things we could of done. #1 be quit about sharing the gospel so we don't argue and dispute in front of the family or #2 and confidently teach and testify. we chose #2 and took over the situation and tought the pastor and he tought a little to me and we found common ground and honestly out of the 15 minutes we were there you could tell that there heart was softening and they were going to start warming up to us and the gospel. now we are teaching the younger son in the family!!!

#2 we had a dinner last night and to our surprise they had brought there entire family over and ha huge FHE and there were 6 non-members and and at first you could tell that we could of either talked about work and all there hobbies or take control teach and to testify and we really did and 2 of them are going to be taking the lessons in a different area. I love the calling we have to represent the lord!!! and all that we have and the talents we are given and the gifts that we need to obtain on the mission.

I know its a supper short email today but im half asleep so if I had misspelled something its because of that.
well family thanks for everything love you all all I will let you know were I am going!!!!!

GETTING TRANSFERED!!!!!!!!! after 6 months!

yeah got the call there kicking me out hahaha! dang is it hard to leave an area were so much happened and such a great place were so many memories and miracles have happened..... but I am PUMPED!!!! to go into a new area and to kill it and give it everything!!!!!!! ewww im so ready!!!! this area has tought me by far the most out of any area, I have learned to be Bold, Confident and a simple teacher and to always be focused on the work so with this and everything else plus the lord great things are going to come!

honestly a lot happened this week but the biggest thing that I learned this week is just what an impact we have on peoples lives and how with the calling that we have that we are able to take control of situations and people accually listen, to 2, 20 year olds. got a couple of stories that happened this week about what im talking about.

Time flies by Elder Lindmeir

so I just got an email from the President that the sisters who came out with me only have 7 weeks left...... what the????? time is going way to fast!!!!! it scares me!!!!! I never wana go. but istill got time... luckily.
but to talk about better and more fun and exciting things that happened this week!
#1 we went to this family we are teaching and they leave and the Indian Rez and its a little sketch there but not to bad, but the last time we went we saw one of the guys who lives with this family that we are teaching totally do a drug deal right in front of us. so back to the story we show up and the family wasn't home but that one guy that I saw from doing the drug deal was there and his name is Devon. so we started to talk and soon he pretty much told us his whole life story about how hes trying to support his girlfriend and shes pregnant and that he cant get a job and all these other problems and he asks me pretty much how he can get his life together. I don't know why but instead of bringing up Christ and the Atonement I just started to throw down on him about doing drugs..... it honestly was the funniest thing. After about 20 minutes of making him feel like dirt because of his drug deals, we totally tought him and his girlfriend and they loved it! we watched the movie Hope of Gods light. it really touched them and it was really cool to see the difference in there willingness to learn after that video. so we picked up him his girlfriend and a sister who lives in the house with them as new investigators and hopefully will be helping them prepare to become clean.

#2 Tony!
so we were driving in Lilac Oaks which is a campground and as we are driving away we see the Hispanic kid walking home from school and we pull over and roll down our windows and start to talk with him and we just simply asked if he had 10minutes so we can share our message and he totally accepts! so we go to his house and we start tePreview attachment FullSizeRender.jpg
aching and getting to know him and honestly he lives in the trailer and is probably one of the humblest people I know and he was loving the restoration. at the end of the lesson we asked him if we could come by tomarrow around the same time and he agrees but the crazy thing about it was the fact was tomorrow was his birthday. we asked him what he was going to do for his birthday but he just simply rolled his shoulders and told us nothing. it honestly was the saddest thing in the world, I mean this guy is only 15 yrs. old and he gets nothing. so we decided to bake him some cookies and tought him again and totally loves it and there's a lot of growth from this part in his life now.

#3 Sick move!!!!
so we moved a member from our ward who lives in the mountains!! and his house he build and its in a rock, and its super sad because he sleeps on a dirt ground and he just hides up in the mountains and does work during the day tosupport his family who live in mexico. Anyways we drive our truck to his place and we fit his whole house and all of his stuff in our truck!!! and I was driving! it was awesome and this guy can barely speaking English and he wears 2 different pairs of shoes all of his clothes are towrn up and he just has what we would call junk are his treasures and after we moved him it took literally no longer than 40minutes but he wips out a 20 dollar bill from his wallet and it was the only cash he had and he wanted us to take it... right then and there I just started to literally cry and it was such a humbling experience to see this cute man with nothing ready to give us 20 bucks wich would probably equal to like a normal person about 200 to 300 bucks. probably and he never asks for any money from the church, he does it all on his own and he never misses a day of church and he walks there and its probably like 15miles away from were he lived. people like this inspire and humble people like me, and it was such a great experience to do that for him!

I love the work here in the mission this is the greatest thing and honestly its the best! love you all!!!

What Joy fills my heart!

The best thing ever happened this week! On friday i got a letter from Cailey Loyd. Do you all remember my friend Cailey that i ran cross country with? When i opened the letter she wrote me a thank you card and a letter. In the letter Cailey starts off saying i got baptized! At this point i was like bawling! My whole mission i have thought about Cailey often, and how much i wanted to share the gospel with her even more! six or seven months before my mission when Cailey and i ran at Simplot we had a heart to heart and Cailey told me her beliefs about God one night. I shared with her my testimony and told her how much the book of mormon has helped me in my life. I told her i would give her a book of mormon. i gave Cailey a Book of Mormon and i wrote my testimony in it a couple of days later at school. she told me she didn't have time to read it during the school year but she said she would read it in the summer. After i left on my mission i just hoped and prayed that Cailey would really read it that summer.

In Caileys letter she said that she always thought religion was something to lean on and was just to make you feel Good. A few months ago Cailey was having a hard time, and decided to read the Book of Mormon. Cailey read it and had lots of questions. one of her roomates at the U was a member and Cailey asked her lots of questions. Her friend was like you should just talk to the missionaries.  Cailey said okay and so she met with them. She told me that she really struggled with prophets and first but came to know that the church was really true. She told me how grateful she was for the light that i had when she was always around me and all the Cross Country kids! What joy fills my heart. i am so filled with grattitude!. Whenever i honestly think about it! i shed a few tears because the Gospel has already changed Caileys life. What is so cool about Caileys conversion is that pretty much the whole high school, cross country team, and all her friends helped in her conversion. It's so cool to see how our examples, the light that we have, people see it and notice it. So go out and let your light shine!

Here are some awesome miracles that happened:
miracle #1: We got a refferal to go see this girl named MoMo. We go over for a lesson and she had already read the Book of Mormon in two weeks!!!!!! Sister Jessee and i were so suprised that we looked like two giddy little kids on Christmas morning! We could not believe it! She is so awesome! she is so open and just wants to learn more about God. Her dad just got baptized and loves how much her dad has changed from the gospel and wants that for herself1

Miracle #2: we got another referral from another set of missionaries. the refferals name is Diana and the text said, she wants to come to church and she needs a ride. Sunday morning Sister Jessee and i were like lets go see her. We honestly were not expecting this text to be true. when we knocked on Diana's door, she opened it and said, the other sister missionaries said you would come and take me to church!  we found her a ride to church and she came! it was stake conference yesterday and we were worried she would not like it, but it is so cool how God inspires people to know what to say. A lot of the talks were focused on Christ and when we looked over at Diana, tears were strolling down her face. it was exactly what she needed to hear.

Diana is just awesome! after the meeting she was like, i really liked that. i want to learn more and i want some friends here! hahahahh Sister Jessee and i are just really grateful for how much this area is picking up and how God is Helping us find people to teach. He is literally handing us them and i am so grateful for other missionaries who talk to everyone!

Things are going amazing! i love you all! i love this work!

The mission is the best thing in the world!!!!!!!Elder Lindmeir

CHECK IT OUT!!!! GOT THIS IN THE MAIL THIS MORNING!

Julie

I hope I've got the right lindmeir. My name is Julie Plyler. If you are serving in the Carlsbad CA mission then I do have the right guy. You may not remember me, but I am related to Rosie Carbajal. You met with Rosie weekly to help her start coming back to church and I was there one day during your meeting. You asked me to sit in with you for the lesson. Anway, what I'm trying to say is thank you! In case you hadn't heard, I was baptized in April (Easter Sunday). Thank you so much! I'm so grateful for you and elder Board. I just wanted to let you know the work you do is amazing. My life has changed so much and I owe it to you two elders.
As for Rosie, she has started to go to church as well. Not every Sunday but she is getting there.

Hope everything is going well!

Julie Plyler

I remember that day as if it was yesterday and that was about 13 months ago, me and Elder Board stayed up later than 10:00 and we could think about what we would teach Rosie ( wich is her cousin or something and she was a member) and as we were thinking and praying on what to teach Rosie we just felt super strongly to teach her the restoration and when we got there and when we were ready to sit down and have a lesson we saw Julie walk in the room and she had all her soccer gear on and as she was walking out the door we just felt to invite her to listen and so I remember we stood up and invited her as she was walking out, and then she just turns around and starts to cry. and she told us " I have been waiting for someone to ask me that, ive been waiting for so long." and then we tought her the Restoration and soon after that we gave her the the YSA sisters and now what do you know shes emailing me this.

its nothing special that I did or that my companion did, I mean at the time we were both new missionaries and we had no clue what to do, but as I look back on my mission the lord really I mean really has placed some of the greatest and wonderus miracles In my path. and if you think about just this one simple invite we gave her led to such a big change in her life, if you think about it how many people are around us who just are waiting for someone to reach out and open there mouth.

this week was legit and I am not as tired so ill write a little more. me and my comp have been getting up extra early so we can have extra time to read the book of Mormon and do the small things that we need to do so that's why im always tired now.  but this week!!!!
#1 thing that happened is after church yesterday we had both of our investigators there and we set up a lesson after church and we tought the restoraration and a little background on these kids. there in a group home either because of drugs or stealing or criminal fraud and they have been in there for the last 5 plus years because there just having such a hard time changing, until now!!!!! so when we tought the restoration they loved every minute of it and we really focused on the Apostacy because they have been through the personal Apostacy and we talked a lot about forgivness and about baptism, and these two kids are just so excited to make the next step to be baptized they have been clean for a long time now and are ready just to be free from the past. so we are stoked about them right now! its awesome to see just what a hope this is going to give them in there life for the future.
#2 trunk or treat!!!!!
it was legit we had our whole ward come out and do the trunk or treat and we met a bunch of non members and invited them all to take the lessons and most of them said " ill think about it" so that was a big step for a lot of people to see, so that was sweet!! I have a good friend in the ward! I forget his name but he has downcindrum and everytime I see him we do our bro hugs and I tell him that hes my body guard and I put my name tag on his suit and this kid just gets so happy and excited its the greatest thing in the world especially because you don't realize as a missionary how many people look up to you and not even that but what power and authority and responsibility it is to be a missionary to carry around the name of Christ. its amazing and this mission means everything to me.
#3 bussy bussy bussy, but I love everyminute of it.
family I love you all so much!!! keep it up!!! and have fun but always share what you know to be true because theres someone just waiting for you to invite.
well family peace out!!!

Sister Waverli Lindmeir

I read this talk called becoming a consecrated missionary By Elder Tad R. Callister and i fell in love with it! He Shared this story in it and it just touched my heart! He Says "several weeks ago Elder Basha and Elder Meis went to finalize the baptismal plans for a man who had resolved to be baptized. to their great dismay, he made a 180 degree turn about and decided that he was no longer interested in the church. they did their best to appeal to his spiritual inclinations, reminding him of the time he had borne his testimony, but to no avail. no doubt they were disappointed, even discouraged, for a moment. they attended another appointment, and then returned to their bikes, only to learn that they both had been stoloen. they sought transportation on the bus, but found that there was a breakdown in the transit system, and thus they needed to walk home. But this was not the end of their troubles. Elder Meis felt a severe pain across his Chest, which was later discovered to be shingles, a terribly painful disease. At the end of that fateful day, we saw Elder Basha and Elder Meis. They had a smile from ear to ear. They related to us the story and then, with their shining countenances that can never be dimmed, they said, "But we're happy, because we know the Gospel of Jesus Christ is true."

WOW! Isn't that amazing?!!!! when i read that i just really thought how pathetic i am and how discouraged i get sometimes. But i really shouldn't because we are so lucky to have the Gospel and how lucky are we that we get to be his missionaries and share it with the world! This story is something that i really want to apply in my missionary work and in my whole life a lot more.

This story really helped me last week to turn to because a couple of things that could be discouraging happened. So last week on sunday i lost my planner which has my whole life in it and the lives of everybody we met and addresses, which is crazy because i have never lost one of my planners before. But i just brushed that off because My companion had hers so i could get our appointments from that. Then do you remember the amazing Kelly i told you about last week? were not sure what happened but she fell off the face of the planet, then Sister Jessee lost her planner also! which she has never done either! We tolde ourselves that Satin took them because there is somebody good that we need to see in their. I have really learned on my mission also that whenever something bad happens, somethings good is always awaiting around the corner and sure enough that is what happened!

I am not sure if i told you all about Joy but Joy is awesome! She is on date for baptism December 6th. It is so far away because we are trying to help her quit smoking. She started when she was 13 years old and now she is 50 trying to quit. Yesterday we fasted with her to give her strength to quit and we told her that we were going to break the fast with her at 6:30pm Sunday night. At 6;04pm she texts us and says so sorry sisters but i couldn't do it anymore and i ate some food! we were like NOOO! because we forgot to tell her that she needed to end her fast with a prayer haha....ooops! but it was okay because when we went over she said she felt really good and she really feels like God is going to give her strength to overcome it with her faith. Then We found a couple of really solid new investigators that we are going to start teaching! And we got two amazing refferals from missionaries and a bishop of a family who wants to be taught and a girl named Mo Mo who has already read half the Book of Mormon! we are so excited to meet them!
The Lord has really been blessing us in this area and it is starting to really pick up! Loving every second of being a missionary!

Love you all! Love Sister Lindmeir

Family!Elder Lindmeir

Great week like always!!! had some funny and some great wonderful experiences this week!!!!
first off it was an insane week!!!!
#1 today for zone activity we played ultimate Frisbee and you know how much I love that and on of the elder threw the Frisbee and told me to catch it in my mouth so I tried and it hit my mouth and I instantly spat out big chunk of my tooth!! haha I totally picked it up and my bottom tooth got owned and I showed the elders and they were laughing and freaking out but after a while I was smiling and they were looking for were it broke and they couldn't find it until they looked at the back of my retainer and its accually a chunk of the glue! so ill be fixing that soon this week. so no need to worry. but I know whatyour thinking why I would even try, and honestly I don't know other than I am always down to try things and my competitiveness got in the way.. so then we had orange floats after. (by the way we won )
#2 we tought the seminary the last few weeks and we got them to do a competition what class can invite most of there friends to either an activity, church, lessons, seminary, or meet the morons. and this week we showed up and gave the class you won the prize and we got like 40 people who we can go by in the future! so we are stoked!
#3 being BOLD. so I don't know what has come over me but lately I feel like something is coming over me and I am being bold to everyone. for example. we show up to a members house and its all the youth are having like a party at there house and we just walk on in and the members were like " hey whats up??? we got to go " and then as they were talking we say like 4 non member youth and we passed the members and we invited the youth to take the lessons and soon they should be!!!! that's honestly how it should be but sometimes as a missionary we get a little scared.
#4 we were able to find a family this week who are just ready! we just need to be consistent in meeting everyday. shes supper busy but if we make the time everything will work out great!! and we had or other family come to church this week for the first time ever and thay loved it and it was a huge testamony of what the church does and supports to the women of the church. we also  who we gave her a church tour. and her and her 4 kids were pumped!!! so we are excited we are going to teach her tonight!
#5 tought Lillty this week shes awesome she is a Part member family and the husband is really not active at all and wants to change and follow Christ and so we taught her about Christ and the gospel of Jesus Christ/ the restoration and she loved it and hopeful we wall set a date with her tounight also!
#6 I am supper tired right now haha so if it doesn't make sense my bad! but It was a great weka because of skylor baptism was this week and hes going to be such a great amazing example  to others.
love you all awesome week sorry so tired cant keep my eyes open. shivani love you have late b_day!!!!

Blowing Away! Sister Lindmeir

Not only are my companions burps blowing me away but the wind is also!( don't worry everybody, my companion gave me permission to say this. She could honestly beat any guy at a burping contest! She is pretty awesome!) This weekend we were watching our members animals that we live with. When we came home saturday night it was soooo windy! we forgot that we had to take the garbages back into the garage and while we were doing it, the wind blew the lid of the garbage cans up and Sister Jessie and i almost died! we were flown/dragged around like a kite! it was pretty funny! Then the next morning Sister Jessie and i went to go feed their chickens and their turkey but the chicken coop was nowhere to be found. It had Blown away to the nieghbors yard and the chickens and turkey were just roaming around! we caught them though with some help from members in our ward. :) it is pretty windy in Richland. i might have to sew some rocks at the bottom of my skirt or just hope no one is looking when my skirt blows up. haha just kidding,  i where leggings and tights because it is getting chilly already!

So something really cool that happened is that we are teaching Kelly! I don't know if you all remember the Kelly i told you about in my emails when i was serving in Kennewick a couple of weeks ago. But she is the one that came to church with a friend and read half the book of Mormon in one week. Well Sister Love my old companion found out that she was barely on the border for being in the Richland YSA instead of the Kennewick one so i get to teach her again! she is doing so awesome! Last week at a lesson she told us that when she went to church and first started to take the lessons, she didn't just for dinner conversations. which means she just wanted to do it so when she was with her friends she could say, hey guess what, i went to church with the mormons and read that crazy book that they have, and they are just as weird as all of you say! but she told us that now it is not the case at all, she says the Book of Mormon has changed her and feels such a difference in her life. It was pretty cool!

I went on a couple of exchanges last week and sometimes i just don't know what to do! I went on this exchange with this one Sister who is just the hardest working missionary i have ever met but she is so hard on herself it was sooooo sad. if she made one little mistake is was heart wrenching to watch! you could just see how she would just beat herself up about it, and the weird thing was it wasn't in my eyes a mistake at all. At the end of the exchange she was just bawling to me about how she does not feel good enough, and no matter how hard she tries she feels like she is not doing any good. It was so hard to watch this amazing Sister beat herself up because truly in my eyes she was doing amazing and is a fantastic missionary! she is perfectly obedient, diligent, kind, charitable and so sweet! I honestly wished that she could see herself as God sees her and everyone else also. I wasn't sure how to help her, but to help her know that she is amazing and i gave her a couple of talks to help her.

This exchange helped me to realize how grateful i am for the atonement, because if we do our very best, Christ makes up the rest. I really do know this to be true and i hope and pray that all of you rely on Christ to help you through your weaknesses, struggles, trials, and challenges. I really know Christ can uplift us and transform us in to the people the people he wants us to be.

I love you all! Love Sister Lindmeir

Sister Waverli Lindmeir

Thursday was the best day of mine and my companions life ever! I was having a pretty hard time earlier in the week because the last companion i had, we were just killing it together! we were perfectly obedient and we just got the work done and we saw miracles left and right and we couldn't even believe the goodness of God! My companion now is awesome but she is really slowing down because she goes home pretty soon so it has been hard trying to help her to keep going strong and finishing strong.
Thursday morning i was feeling a little down because of the lack of people we are teaching and how this area is going, and how i just want it to explode because i feel that, that is the vision that God has for us here! Thursday morning Sister Jessie and i knelt down in humble prayer, pleading that God would lead us to people that were ready for the gospel. Thursday before we went into an appointment we get a call from the Zone leaders and  they said Sisters we have the best refferal for you! The referral they had for us name is Cody and they put him on date for baptism November 15th after just one lesson! Sister Jessie and i were so excited  that we went and saw him that night. He let us in and his friend Katie, was there and she is just as interested in the Gospel as he is! Then right after that Sister Jessie and i were going to go and try contacting another refferal and when we went to go contact the refferral we met this guy named Loyd outside of her apartment. Loyd is awesome and is soooo interested in the gospel! God Blessed us with 3 new investigators within one hour! HOLY COW does God answer prayers! he is so good to us missionaries!

Sister Jessie and i are in a finding stage right now and we are really working on finding the Elect to teach. I am so pumped for this area! This area has always been a dead area and i just know that it can explode if we do everything we can God truly is a God of miracles!

Things are going really good! I know that this week is going to be so good and i just can't wait to kill it! Love Sister Lindmeir

DEJAVU!!!Sister Lindmeir

It was really weird on wednesday to come back to the area that i first served in. I was a little nervous, but excited to come into this area and give everything i have to the ward and people when beforehand i couldn't because i was so new and didn't know what i was doing. Nervous only because do you all remember when i was haunted at the place i was living in my first area? remember how i couldn't sleep for my first two weeks and i would hear the creepiest things and one night i just woke up screaming?! well, don't worry. i don't know if it is just is not haunted anymore or if i am just to tired to be woken up, because i sleep like a baby! :)  don't worry the place is now blessed and all that good jazz so you don't have to worry about me, oh and MOM sent me a night light if i ever get scared so don't worry haha :)

It has been so weird driving around and seeing so many familiar things. On Sunday i was suprized to see that there were a handful of members that recognized me and one of them ran up to me and gave me the biggest hug and said i am so glad you are back! it is cool that even when we think we don't do much or leave an impact, we do. When i walked into church i also saw one of the ladies that i taught a year ago. Good old Patty Hendon! she is baptized now and it was amazing to see her and how she is such a strong member in the church. She has changed so much and it goes to show no effort is ever wasted. She had been taught by missionaries for 12 years and she got baptized just 6 months ago. she is awesome!

It has been cool to drive around and try some of the people that i used to teach. We tried this girl named Lilly that i we taught a year ago. When we knocked on the door and when Lilly saw my face she was so happy and excited! She told us that nobody had seen her in almost a year and she didn't know why because she loved all the lessons so much and the Book of Mormon. She was so sad when the missionaries stopped coming by. We are going to start teaching her now again though. She is just so great and loves God so much!

I love this area and i feel like it has so much potential. We really feel like God has a great vision for this area and we are trying to see his vision. The area is kind of dead right now, so i am so excited to help build it up! I have been praying a lot and have been brain storming some ideas of how we can help this area pick up and build up our teaching pool. Members are the key and we look forward to working with them closely, and going out finding those that God is preparing for his gospel. One thing that i have learned so much with all the areas that i have served in id faith is the key! This is one of my favorite scriptures ever!   "For behold, I am God; and I am a God of miracles; and I will show unto the world that I am the same yesterday, today, and forever; and I work not among the children of men save it be according to their faith." 2 Nephi 27:23
I know that this scripture is so true that as we have faith in the Lord and as we do everything we can, he will show unto us miracles! He truely is all powerful and can do anything. I am glad to be back in this area and I really like my new companion her name is Sister Jessee. She is from Riverton Utah and she is just a sweet heart and i feel like we are going to work really well together!

i love you all! Love Sister Lindmeir

Elder Lindmeir Mission

The mission is the best! I got my new companion and hes totally a ginger.... its pretty cool, and right now I feel like I have never been so bussy in my life! I love it!!! cant even remember the last time I had time to write in my journal ( sorry mom ) haha. but its all good because the lord is blessing us with people to teach.
Miracles for this week!!!
#1
Met up with one of our investigators Skyler and he has been pushing off his baptismal date for a while now and by this time I had my new comp and I just told skyler right then and there you pick right now what you want to do and commit. He choose the right path and totally has been committed to make that first promise I love it!!!!!!
#2
since Elder Olvera left I have this enormous are and zone to take care of and my new companion has never been a zone leader or worked how we work in this area so theres a lot on my back but I love it I just work work work and trust in the lord to do the rest and laugh while doing it!!! its a great blessing to know that the lord doesn't require you to be this good at everything he just wasn't you to do your best. the lord has helped us find places /addresses of people and to find specific people in a specific area.
#3
we met with tenille every day this week and she was able to make that step!!! within 2 weeks she was able to make this promise! the girl has some faith! and the evil one tried and tried to tell her not to do it but as she was reading alma 32 she got her answer that she needed to get baptized it 2 weeks. its amazing to see that the lord is just putting his children in our paths just ready to listen.
#4
Saturday night came and we received a call from the bishop and he asked us to give a talk about missionary work and how it helps us become more Christ like. I was so pumped!!!! and we only had like an hour to prepare a 15 min talk! it was legit was a powerful meeting on Sunday and we got the whole ward stoked to share the gospel!

it was an amazing week learned so much and I am so greatful for all you keep up the hard work!!!!!

Lessons to be learned Sister Lindmeir

Hey Everybody!
Let me just start off saying that people need what we have, and that the Lord is preparing people! A couple of weeks ago a guy in the YSA  invited a girl named Kelly to the branch. Kelly came and she enjoyed it very much! She used to be catholic but something in her life changed and she turned away from God and all his teachings as a teenager. She is very open and accepted a copy of the book of Mormon. We left her with 0NE Chapter to read. We met with her the Friday Following the Sunday and we asked her how her reading went. She started apologizing to us and she was like, I have been so busy with work, school, and my plays that I am in that I have only read a few books in the book of Mormon. I am so sorry sisters, I just wanted to be so prepared for our lesson and I couldn't finish. Sister Love and my Jaw was to the floor!!! this never happens!!! who does that?! it Was the best! we asked her if she was praying while she read, she said I have not prayed since I was a little girl. We talked about prayer and committed her to pray. She said she would.
On Sunday Kelly came to conference and afterwards we were talking to her and we asked her how her praying was going. She started to cry, she said "I have not prayed in so long and I didn't know what to say, so I just started talking to God, telling him how sorry I am about turning away from him for so many years. I was just pleading to him, to forgive me. And when I was praying it was like I was just talking to my dad. I have not been able to tell anyone or talk to anyone like I did with him and I felt so much peace." God is so real and I know he answers prayers and he truly is our Loving Heavenly Father. So many people don't know that and it is up to us to help them know that. Kelly is awesome and it is really cool to see how her life is changing already.

On Thursday we had a meeting with President Ware and he was giving us his testimony before the meeting was over and He Said " God needs us where we are, and where we are going to go" he looked straight at me and I was like NOOOOOOOOO! this means I am getting transferred but again. Sure enough transfer calls came and I am getting transferred. I was really sad about it because I just got doubled into this area with Sister Love who is the best companion I have ever had and the work here is now just exploding and I am learning so much, we are working so hard, and I have to leave again?! I kept asking myself why do I have to leave again?! This is going to be my 7th time being transferred why do I have to get transferred so much? I was really sad about it but then, In conference something that Jorge Klinbignet said in his talk really stuck out to me. He talks about 6 things we can do. the 6th thing says Except trials as part of your existence. Just expect trials, trust in the Lord and put a smile on your face and prove yourself to Heavenly Father that you can do this! haha I know I should expect trials in life sometimes I am a little whimpy and I like where I am at. I know that God has a lot of things that he wants me to learn and that's why he moves me around so much. or I am just not getting a lesson that he is trying to teach me... hopefully I get it this time haha. I have all faith and trust in the Lord though and I am excited to learn and grow some more!

Something That is super exciting though is I am getting transferred to West Richland which is the very first area that I served in! I only served there for six weeks and I always felt bad about that area because I was so shy and my companion was sick all the time that we didn't get all that I hoped to do done, and I felt like I didn't even make a difference. so I am excited to go back and make a difference and help everyone come unto Christ!

Love you all! Love Sister Lindmeir

TRANSFER CALLS

transfers came!!!! and my companion is leaving after 4 and a half months together... its always sad to see a comp go when you work so good with each other but hey I am so stoked to get a new companion!!!!!! we are actually having transfers at the movie theater and we are going to watch the movie " MEET THE MORMONS " woot woot we get to watch it tomorrow even before it comes out! so I am totally going to take a nap during that movie. I think I might be sleep deprived haha honestly my eyes literally fall from my face. but its all part of this great experience!!! and I love it. I think so far in my mission were I can say this is the hardest thing that I think will come in my path, I sure hope not, because it really has been able to strengthen me and build some more character, but honestly the mission is the hardest thing I have ever doneX100 haha put its so great to see because when something bad is happening or when you need to get something done or your on deadlines or you disappoint members and non members its so amazing to see and feel happy. I honestly can tell you I have only gotten mad 1 time since I have been on my mission and no matter what comes our way we know we can tackle it, and be positive about it. not last sunday but the sunday before that we were struggling to find new investigators and that day I fasted and prayed and when we went to church on sunday we told our ward mission leader that we need to find new people to teach and that we need his help and as we are talking we get a knock on the door, and sister Marler peeps in her head and says " hey we have a non member  walk into church with three little kids " as soon as she said that we got up laughing and gave her a church tour and she bore her testimony and on Monday we tought her, and set a baptismal date on the 11th in 5days. we have met with her everyday this week and she has gotten her spiritual manifestation that the book of Mormon is true, she knows that Thomsas S Monson is a prophet of god just by listening to him speak yesterday. The most amazing thing about this woman is shes about 30 years old with 3 little kids, has been struggling for months, Finacially mentally physically and I have never seen someone so positive about everything. she makes time to read her scriptures, and to pray and to come to church. you know the lord prepares people when they are like this. and there everywhere we just all need to open our eyes a little more and look for them. she told us that she loves the gospel that we are teaching her and that she loves the members and she said I cant wait to become a member of the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints. we are so blessed to teach her right now so if you have the chance just pray for her, her name is Tuniel.

so one of our recent converts got himself into Anti Mormon garbage, and it was so funny because he had a huge lists of concerns and we told him we will go through each one and answer them and I kid you not all of them were answered after about an hour ( wich was the biggest waist of time ) but he needed them to be answered and it came down to him that he kept on saying that there is no evidence that the book of Mormon is real. and I was just thinking to myself and I was just ready to show him all of the evidences that it was real. and it got me thinking that there would be literaly 0 point in sharing with him all the evidences of the book of Mormon. because even if we were to share it with him it would defeat the purpose of building faith, and especially building faith in Christ. In all of the so called " evidences" he found it was the little things and wasn't focusing on the big picture that the question is " Does the book of Mormon bring you closer to Christ? " and he answered yes. and all the other garbage out there is from man and not by god. and so it made me think about am I focusing on all the other little things or just Christ. that's just a thought. well it was a great week honestly I am so pumped to get my new companion and to keep seeing the lords miracles in our path!!!! love you all!!!!

A whole bunch of random good!

A lot has happened in the past week and I have learned a lot of great things! here is a very important lesson that I learned!

I went on exchanges with a Sister missionary that has only been out in the field for like 2 months and when we went on exchanges the whole time she was just bragging about her area and how many people they have on date and how amazing they all are. There area is just booming! I was thinking a lot about it and I was wondering why I had never been in an area that we were getting baptisms left and right. I have always been put in dead areas and my companion and I work really hard and put all our trust in the lord and right when it starts getting really amazing and we have people on date and many investigators, I always get taken out. I was a little sad about not having as many baptisms as other missionaries especially when I saw this new Sister missionary having so much success and tons of baptisms. But then I was thinking about it a lot and I am so grateful that the  lord has put me into dead area where I had to really humble myself and turn to him. As great as these Sisters are that we went on exchanges with, they were really prideful, and they had quiet a bit of an ego.  God knew that If I was in areas like this my whole mission that I would be so prideful and that I wouldn't have to rely on him for his help and guidance. I am really grateful that the Lord has humbled me so much on my mission and I truly know I am so weak and I am nothing without him.

the most amazing thing happened this morning!!!! So three weeks ago I got a text message from My mission president and he gave me special permission to call one of my old investigators from Moxee and terrace heights, Mandy Morgan. He gave me permission because he met her and her recently baptized husband Jarred at church and they had just barely moved to Kennewick, from moxee.   He wanted to make sure I had her knew address so I could write her and keep encouraging her to take the lessons. So when I called her 3 weeks ago she told me that she lived right by the temple. I told her that I was going to the temple on the 24th and that she could stop by and say hi if she wanted to! When I was in the temple today praying, i was asking Heavenly Father if I am doing enough and even making a difference.   I have been Struggling I guess a little bit lately with just wanting to make sure that I am the missionary that Heavenly Father wants me to be and making sure I am giving everything I have to him. When I walked out of the temple I hear someone yell my name, and it was Mandy! she came just running to me and we just embraced! I didn't think she was going to come and when I was talking to her I knew that it was an answer to my prayers that even though I don't have the most baptisms and I am not the best at teaching and I have so many weaknesses, that I am still making a difference. it made me think of this scripture: " And if it so be that you should labor all your days in crying repentence unto this people, and bring, save it be one soul unto me, how great shall be your joy with him in the kingdom of my father!" I know this scripture is true. There is something so special about Mandy and I knew That when I first met her, we knew each other in pre-mortal life! She is still not baptized but is taking the lessons.  I know she will be soon though.  When we were at the temple i saw the sweetest picture ever of Mandy and her husband getting sealed together forever with their little baby Carter. Her Husband Jarrad is a strong new member though and he has an awesome calling! and I know that he will help Mandy to know that she already knows the church is true and one day they will make it to the temple together. :)

It has been an amazing day and week! Tons of miracles are happening and I am learning so much! love you all!

Elder Lindmeir

this week on the mission!

we are having a blast in valley center!! there is so much work to do and we have really, I mean really been able to build the wards trust which is everything in missionary work!!! so now the fun part begins to find there friends so we can teach more people!
this week we had some awesome experiences!
#1 we are teaching this family and the wife of the families parents are accually members and converted about 5 years ago, and this is the first time when she accually wants the missionary lesson so we are giving it to them. we first tought her about faith and baptism about a week ago and this week we tought her about the gospel of Jesus Christ. As we were teaching her before the lesson we told her " we are going to invite you to be baptized but as we teach ask yourself why? why would you Rachael need to be baptized?" and so we started teaching and it was going great and then right we started talking about baptism she stops, and asks us a question and it was " were in the bible does it tell me that I have to be baptized to go to heaven because before my dad converted he just told me all I have to do to go to heaven is just believe in Christ." so we read the famous scripture of John 3:5, then as she read and pondered on that scripture she askes  " why do you put your hands on people heads to give them the Gift of the Holy Ghost?" then we read Acts 8, and as she pondered and read it.. there was a pause, and I just new that she had gotten her answer that she needs to get baptized, and so after about a 20 second pause I asked her " will you follow the example of Jesus Christ and be baptized by someone who holds the priesthood authority from god? and she pasued and said yep! and we gave her the date in wich could get baptized by and she said it works!! so as wqe are teaching her we turned to her husband ( witch accually there not married but they have been living together for the past 5 years ) and invited him too, and he didn't answer but she interrupted and said alright what do we have to do to be baptized? and we said well you either get married or move out, and Rachael gave Richard ( her boyfriend ) an ultimatum!! she said "well either we get married in the next couple weeks and get baptized together or your leaving!" hahaha it was crazy!!!!!!! sometimes that's what you got to do. hopefully he getsd his answer that these things are true in the next couple weeks!

#2 about 20 people from the ward on Saturday helped us build one of our recent converts roof for there house, and accually the father of the house is not a member and theres a grandma who lives in the same house and boy she sure hates us and is really anti Mormon! but when she saw 20 people who accually do construction for a living come and build her house, she was impressed!! and i accually got to talk with her and she was a lot nicer than before so her heart is softening! its awesome! we almost finished the roof of there house and at the end we set up an appointment with Roy who is the dad of the house and who isn't a member yet, we set the lesson that night around 7. we went by and we tought him the plan of salvation/the power of the priesthood authority. the reason he hasent become a member is because he believes you don't need an authority and that he doesn't need to be baptized to be a part of the church.
so we tought everything to his questions and concerns, and throughout the lesson we were able to commit him for baptism. but he was still kind of unsure. so yesterday he came to church and during the second hour ( gospel principles ) our ward mission leader brother reilly ( who is a boss ) gets up to the stand and starts teaching about baptism and about half way through the lesson he asks our row when we got baptized, and he started at one end and ended with Roy our investigator and when it came to him he said " I am getting baptized.  " he got supper stoked and everyone around him and he has some things to overcome but throught the gospel he can.
its so great to see this family get so excited for each other as they are coming unto the fold! cant wait to see them go to the temple!!! amazing things are happening and I have never felt so grateful for all the wonderful things we are given i love my mission and it means everything to me. its the lords time to bring his children back to him, how could there be anything greater than that?
love you all
