SPLITS ARE INSANE!

Having a blast this week!!!! I went to the Escondido Zone to do exchanges this week and i was able to see MY GREENIE AREA!!!! it was sweet!!! ooooo o by the way Elder Rivers said i can come live with him at his house, sorry trunk talk. So many things happened this week honestly i hope i can do jusice through an email.

i have to start on Wednesday because i forgot what happened on monday and tuesday haha.

Also President Kendrick Challenged the mission who could get 100 contacts in a day, for this week. As a missionary i still have my competetiveness, but luckly its a healthy competiveness.

so Wednesday i went with Elder Acosat and Elder Shiver to Escondido Hills ward.

Both these missinaries are supper young, wich i love!!!! becasue they still have that greenie fire! anyways, we had a solid day with few appointments but we made a deal we would talk to everyone and anyone we saw, and when we took out a member to a lesson we knocked on thee door and no answer as we walked down the stairs we saw this 18 yearold talking his trash out and we ran over there and he is totally down for a lesson, wich suprised the new missionaries and the member and so we tought him right there and then about the Restoration, and hes SOlID and so humle and ready. that night to get our 100contacts we biked like 14miles and we barely got it.

Thursday

we went to another area, ( wich is known for the hardest area and its known for the CURSE! ) wich just means the area hasent had a baptism in like 4 years.... and these missionaries promised me that they only saw 8 people the few days before that and jus went on about how the area is strugglin but with some motivation we were all ready to work!!! so we walked for like 5 hours haha and talked to alot more than 8 people but werent able to pic  anyone else up as an (I) yet but i new it was comming!!!! so as we were walkin we still needed like 20 more people to talk too and it was supper dark and we needed to get a ride back to our apartmentment we were 7 miles away from our apartment and it just hit 9:00 pm BUT WE NEW THERE WAS SOMEONE TO TEACH! and as we were walking to talk to ore people a guy pulled over asked for a ride and i asked him "Are you a non member?" he said Yeah im a non member so we jummped all in and he started to tell us his story. He is only 19 years old and growing up he went to our church and was in riest qorum and he was so close to getting baptized but his buddy left on his mission so he never got it done. BUt Jose is his name, but he had a book of mormon on his dash board this guywas practicly mormon already! so we got his info, invited him to be Baptised i 3 weeks and he sais hes down!!!! so im stoked! THE LORD PROVIDES! Even if you 7 miles away from home. and we got over a 100 contacts were these missionaries have been getting 8 or less everyday. as long as we are humble and willing he will alwys provide.

 

Friday

Went witH ELder ANderson and Elder Leal

Aweosme exchange and lessons learned!

So we pulled up  to a potential Investigators home and he totally lets us have a lesson with him and his name is Tony, the best way to describe him is hes older and hespanic/white and talks perfect english. anyways as soon as we sit down for the lesson he just wont stop crying and we start asking him why are you crying and he kept saying becasue of his back. he got in an accident and damaged his back and since he doesent have any insurance he deals with the pain. this guy was insome serious pain!!! it was insane, so we decided to teach him about faith and miracles, and as soon as the spirit got so thick like egg nog in the lesson, he stopped crying and he stands up and right then and there he was HEALED straight up then he fell on his knees and prayed and prayed for grattitude.

tha was the first miracle on that exchange and the next one was about Elder Anderson and his Grattitude to everyone and everything. At the end of Tony lesson we went to give him a BOM we realised we dont have any, so instead of comming back another day he just gave him his personal leather copy of his BOM, later i realised he does that all the time he just gives and gives and never asks for anything else. Elder Rivers was his companion and one day he said that this homless lady asked for some food for her famly and Elder Anderson goes to an ATM and pulls out 60dollars and gives it to that family like no big deal. Than to top all this off he has a supper nice bike but hes leaving on his mission soon and my bike is getting jacked up and he wanted to trade for some odd reason and i was down and then i gave him cash to somewhat make it even and yesterday i found the cash i gave him in my bag, he had put it there without me noticing, i have learned that material items mean nothing, but making people happy means everything. what an awesomee missionary.

 

Saturday

Went with the YSA missionaries

solid miracles!!! we knocked on a LA door and we were looking for her son who s a non member and she said he was gone and to come back another time, and she was about to shut the door i asked is there anyother non members here and she said yes and i asked well can we meet them and what do you know she lets us in and as soon as we go in on the left hand side there was 3 noonmembers and we tottally tought them and set three dates with them awesome mitracles!!! dang i can go for days but running out of time love you all!!! jeep killing it!!!

MISSION LIFE

Hey Family! totally loving life its getting crazzy going from one place to another but i am seeing some mad miracles are happening!!!! hope yall enjoy!!!!

MIRACLE!!! ok so back in valley center we tought these two girls who were cousins and they are 20, and 25 and Alex the 25 year old wasent really interested at all and everytime we would go over she would be either supper high or drunk! and we would take her cigarrettes away and teach her but we focused on Amy who is the 20 yearold becasue she accually really wanted to listen. so we tought them probobly like 20 times and both of them would be in on the lessons but amy we thought was the only one listeneing and on saturday i hear about someone who got baptized in valley center and it ended up being Alex. who was the last person!!!! i though would join, she partied everyday has 3 kids not marries did drugs everyday, and the got Baptized on saturday in 1 week she gave up everything and shes totally 100% commited to change and to folllow christ! its so awesome!

Miracle! so i went to YSA on exchanges and we went to a refferal we had just recieved and we decided to go contact him. we knock on his door and this huge black man answers the door and his name is Sean and hes the refferal he totally lets us in and we start to talk and i ask him how he got so jacked and he told us how he served for marines for the last 9 years and is a black belt in like 3 martial arts. His job right now is hes a bouncer, wich means he goes to clubs or bars to break up the fights and makes everything ok and makes sure no one gets hurts. so anyways his best friend ends up being a mormon and he tells us how he wants to come to church with us and we teach the restoration my favorite part is when we invited him for baptism in 2 week away he says "yeah i cqan get baptized on the 13th ill put it in my calender so i can get work off" it was just so casual and awesome! and hes going to make the best mormon!!!!!

Cool story for yall! So when i was on exchanges these Elders i was with were struggling and havent seen a miracle in a long time or even pick up a new Investigator in a long time and as we were riding our bikes we hadent tought anyone yet and it was getting dark and i just said a silent prayer that we might find someone and no joke within like 5 minutes we trun a corneer on our bikes and theres this girl on curb just sitting alone next to her car. So i see her and start peddling to her, and as soon as i am about to talk she says " Hey can you guys talk to me?" and of course we started to talk and she explained to us her story, how missionaries used to teach her all the time but she was always on druggs and never really listened but she said how she could feel something after each time those missionaries left. She said how now she just came out of Re-hab and now she has been sobber for 5 months, and she said now shes looking for a church and i wana be a part of your! so in 5min we tought her about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and invited her to be Baptized in 10 days and she said with tears on her face... " YES i would love to, this is what i need!" special experience that ill never forget! here is a picture of her, cause i had to remeber this day!

Family!!!

Dang that's crazy that Elder Carillo is home hes an awesome elder supper hard worker so mike will be in good hands! I GET MY CAST OFF TOMARROW IM SO PUMPED!!! you don't even know how hot and itchy it is. that's my complaining moment for the week. but yeah I am really excited and im going to video them pulling out my pins!!! so we can all enjoy it together. YEA!

This week was totally awesome!!!!!!

Had a bunch of things to do and right now we are preparing for our meeting tomarrow!!!

to keep it short ill start with the funny story of the week!!!!

we were driving to a meeting and arrived there early accuaully about 30min early so we thought we would be able to get a bite to eat and Elder Mounga said that there is this Pho restaurant that's supper good and cheap so we went! we go in order the biggest bowl of Pho and we told our waiter a Korean guy that we want the best 1 they have. so it comes and for a Korean place I was surprised how big the bowl was. mom it was the size of the salad bowls you have. anyways its stacked with noodles, greens, and beef! so we just start chowin down because we only have 15min. a few minutes in I realize I was eating some really fatty meats, and that the noodles looked a little off, but we kept chowin down, until Elder mounga kind of said " man what is this? " and I observed it more ate a little bit more and we asked the waiter what was all inside of it and he listed it of...

2nd story!!!!

this was legit!!!!!! so prepare spiritually! briana and joe our investigators came to church and then we set up a lesson right after and when we show up only Joe was there and hes like not as interested as briana but we were still stoked to teach him, and during the prayer we here briana come to the door and she sits on the couch and just starts to tell us this " when I woke up this morning something warm was all around me and it kept telling me that I need to be baptized and as I went to church the feeling only grew and grew! and I know I am supposed to be here so Joe I am getting baptized either with you or without!" haha it was amazing you could totally see and feel here testimony she has! so then we set a date for sunday and she will be ready and Joe will be praying to see if he is ready then to accept to be baptized. we picked this couple up 2and a half weeks ago from contacting the lord has been preparing this couple. its definitely a humbling experience, this couple is so amazing!!!!!!!! like the coolest people im so stoked to see them grow.

well family the work is true. There can be no greater change in someones life when they choose to be baptized. so soothing that will help us all this week is to think about what has led in our life because of our baptism. then think about what if you never got baptized were your life would be.

its pretty intense.

Hey family Elder Lindmeir

hope you scrolled down on my last email so you could get it all. but what a great week this week!!!!!!!! like always the lord provides and we saw some awesome miracles!!!!!! but before that I have just been pondering and studying and praying about what have I learned the most on my mission and what I have truly gained and it was simple. I have finally gained a true testimony. A testimony that only I can understand and feel its more than saying you believe its more than thinking you believe and know, my testimony came as I have humbled myself and let the lord shape me. my testimony I what fuels my fire!!!! its the only thing that keeps me going!!!!!! my testimony is literally felt throughout my whole frame of my body, its the only way I can describe it, because of my testimony I feel the true peace in life, I feel like I can literally accomplish anything that the lord wants me to. its funny to explain what I feel and what I know as a true fact, that Jesus is the Christ and that his gospel is in its fullness today. I cant say that this is the only true church but I can say and promise that this is the only church that will bring you closer to your savior than any other religion because of the covenants, ordinances and scriptures and it brings to the table. I cant tell you exactly whats going to happen to us when we die, but I know.. without a doubt that there is something in each of us that teaches and tells us what truth is and it sure tells me that Jesus Christ really did die for me and that we can all live again. now what that intells?? that's another question but I sure believe 100% the plan of salvation but I haven't received the same whitness as I have that Jesus is the Christ. so just from the feelings of truth that i get from the spirit wich is in me gives a firm knowledge and another whitness that he is real and he truly does love us.

I love it!!!!!! its so crazy how real it is!!! and theres nothing better than sharing my testimony! testamonies have so much power!!!! when you read or hear it if your humble enough the spirit really will tell you it is true!

I know im preaching to the choir and theres no rebuking or harm in this I just wanted to share a little bit of my testimony.

well family don't got much time and that took a lot longer than I thought but I love you all. I cant wait until I give you all a hug, but I know im not finished an o I am stoked to find all those who are in need and bring them to eternal happiness. I love you again and thanks for the prayes and all you do for me!

This week started slow, but we got a surprise on Tuesday! This new missionary came in, Elder Ellis, and guess where he's from?

It's pretty cool....he knows Jager!  And so we put it in Hyper-Drive!!!!! I mean we gots ta put this greenie to work!

we made it a goal to talk to 35 people a day and to pick up 5 new Investigators so pretty much we were running from door to door and chasing people down it was so awesome!!!!!!!!!! the first day we saw this couple getting into there car and we ran after them and made them laugh and then bore testimony and we were able to pick them up!! there awesome there willing to listen and take the lessons but there strong in there church but hey the spirit converts not us.

then we knocked on a door and this lady answers and we talk and she ends up being a member but her kids are not and her husband isent and we tought them about how the gospel blesses families and they are so excited to continue on this path! cool thing about it the daughjter is named Jazlin shes 13 and they just moved in and shes supper sad all the time because she has no friends and we tought her about how it will fill the whole or gap that shes missing.

we got a call from a PMF who was cancelling our lesson because he got called into work but that he said im going to walk to the gas station buy a monster and head to work and we conviced him that we can just walk with him to the store and teach him and we did and he totally loves it!!!!! so we will be teaching him soon!

then while working we have been helping the members to do missionary work like for example what we did to you dad on Skype. and while at our dinner we get a text saying hey my friend is at the fire pit cooking hotdogs you guys wana show up and meet her??? of course we said and we drove down there met her tought her and picked her up and its amazing to see how much more solid she is compared to the people we just meet on the streets because of the friendship they have made!!!! were teaching her tonight so were so excited!!!!

so at the end of this week we hit all our goals a picked up more Investigators in a week than I ever have!! the lord always provides!!!!! love you all!!!!

Sister Lindmeir!

A couple of really exciting things happened last week! Jacob our recent convert got the priesthood yesterday and a temple recommend! He is awesome and we are hoping that he will want to serve a mission in the future! Then a former companion of mine Sister Standing got emergency transferred to Kennewick and i got to go on a exchange with her, and it was the best! Honestly a huge blessing from Heavenly Father because i have not seen her in such a long time and it was cool to see how much she has grown since i have been with her 9 months ago! Then with one of the sets of Sisters we serve that are having a hard time finding new investigators, so we did a "faith filled hour exchange" and it was an awesome exchange! we only knocked on 3 doors and and we were able to have lessons with each of them! and we were led to the sweetest lady ever who is so prepared! It is amazing how there are so many people in every single place you serve that are prepared for the gospel! we just have to be hunters and find them! this is one of my favorite scriptures about being hunters Jeremiah 16:16 "behold, i will send for many fishers, saith the Lord, and they shall fish them; and after will i send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks." We are Gods hunters and we have to find all those that are ready.
 I know that when i go home i will continue to be a hunter. I will never stop doing missionary work and bringing those to the truth. Which is the only thing that can fill them with joy, peace, and make them whole. My heart aches that i have to go home but i know everything is going to be okay.

I made a goal that this week is going to be the best week ever! This week is going to be filled with so many miracles! This is not, going to be a sad week, but a week filled with so much joy! I am so grateful for my mission and everything it has taught me. Honestly the best 18 months of my life! I love you all! Love Sister Lindmeir

They are after us!!!

So the other day i was on exchanges with a Sister and we were Knocking doors and it was probably 8:00 at night, so not too late. We knocked on this one door who's lights were on and this dog starts barking really loud inside and is like going crazy! then this lady starts talking and she seems really scared and she asks us who we are and we tell her the Sister missionaries through the door and i don't think that she could hear us because she seemed really scared still and then she yells out, i am calling the police! we were like ya probs not. not really believing her because tons of people say things like that to missionaries. So we keep on knocking doors and then this lady lets us in and we teach her a lesson.when we got out of the lesson, We were late to go exchange back with our companions and we were far away from our car so we start running but then stopped because we saw this car behind us that had this bright light that was going back and fourth like he was trying to look for something. finally he stops his car and comes out and asks us what we were doing and we told him that we were missionaries and that we were sharing the Gospel and he was like well i got this call from this lady and she was so scared and was saying that there were two robbers on her front porch!  i am not sure what kind of robbers look as sweet as us that have name tags on and big bright smiles. We felt bad that we scared her so much, but it was pretty funny that she sent the Sheriff after us. He asked us for all our information so that he could probably do a background check. So family and friends, if i don't return home in two weeks, i am probably in jail sharing the Gospel :)

Jacobs Baptism was on saturday and it was amazing! he is going to be such a strong member of the church! his family is super anti and they didn't want him to get baptized but he knew that it is true and that he needed to follow the example of Jesus Christ. He bore his testimony after he was baptized and it was amazing! nothing brings you more joy then helping someone come to the truth, and helping them see what joy, peace,and happiness comes from being a member of Christs church! It was a lovely day!

It's crazy that whenever you have a baptism, satan always tries his hardest to make everything fall through, and hopes that it is a miserable week for you and your investigators! it definitly was not a miserable week but he tried really hard to bring us down. It didn't work, just more excited to do better this week and help all to come to the truth! I can't believe i am running out of time! it is the worst! I love you family and friends but i love being a missionary! I can't believe it!

Is it springtime already?!

For the past two days it has been so sunny and beautiful outside. I don't know what it is about the sun but whenever it comes out it makes me extra happy and all i want to do as we go from door to door is sing glorious hymns!

Last week was a lot better then the previous week. It seemed like everything was falling apart the week before. Like Fionna was moving to Alaska. We couldn't get a hold our investigators. Our appointments fell through. But we always know that whenever there is a bad day the is always a good day around the corner! Last week was that good day! Fionna is not moving to Alaska which we are so happy about! And the YSA is just on fire! We got 2 new investigators this week from the YSA and they are just awesome. People that are YSA age are just so humble and eager to learn more. We have a baptism this Saturday for Jacob and we are so excited! Jacob is a miracle! He was a refferral from another set of missionaries and we met him a little over two weeks ago. He is cruising through the book of Mormon and he says that whenever he prays to know if it is true, he can't stop smiling. The branch just really loves him a lot.

 One thing that i love so much about the church is that everyone in it is like your family. A lot of the people we teach come from broken families and they have never felt so welcome and loved before. The church is truly like coming back home for so many people. It just feels right!

Things are going well! i feel like Heavenly Father is and has been teaching me a lot this transfer. My companion and I are working hard and just giving everything we can and holding nothing back.

Surgery is legit!!!!

whats up family !!!? 

Well I had surgery yesterday around 2 o'clock they take good care of you it was vary nice they have comfy beds and the nurses were very cool Ha Ha. 

My letters going to sound weird because in not writing it my good friend Elder Campbell is writing It. So this week was awesome cant remember much right now because my head is spinning but we have been teaching William every single day this last week and hes getting baptised this Saturday !!! ya ya  hes a supper old guy hes not all the way their but man is he awesome I'm so pumped for him!!!!

I went on exchanges this week with Elder Bringhurst who is a master basher and doctrine fanatic!!!! and that night we taught ken and Corina and 1st thing they bring up is all the anti questions and concerns they have lucky i had elder Bringhurst to back me up and for the next two hours we taught and answered all the concerns until the last question exaltation  and then as soon as I'm about to answer Elder bringhurs wipes out his kitty journal that has well known christian leaders in the early centres before the nicen creed that talks about exaltation. and after he read these and testified all their concerns were answered . and now they are just praying to know if the book of Mormon is true .

     we had our zone training meeting that we had prepared for. it was to help the missionaries plan in second gear witch just means having them plan more tords using members every hour of the day and we made a little video I would send it to you but its to long its prity funny well family i love you so much thanks for the prayers and all you do.

going to be a short email i have to plan for a meeting but, cool miracles are comming our way!!!!

the crazziest thing about it is how much i have to rely to the lord. this week was tough because only have a left arm you really cant do a lot. because as a missionary we take so many notes/thought/ideas for meetings, so this week preparing for this meeting was crazzy because my new comp is a new to this i have to tell him everything and he has to write it all down he has to plan while i just say what to do, so its been getting a little crazzy but, i tell you what. its a very humbling experience especially since i cant do everything i want too. but my heart is always full of the saviors love, and patience. and for that i am so greatful for him.

BASKETBALL SUCKS!!!

hah so as you all know i broke my arm. but it was so sick!!!! so bear with me i have terrible spelling especially with one hand so sorry..... but this is the story so enjoy!!!

pday the activity was ultimate freesbee and soccer and basket ball and the whole day i was going hard like always i dont loose!!!.... thanks dad. so after winning soccer and freesbe we came to basket ball!!!!

my favorite sport as you all know and we played a little bit and then for some reason we had a dunking competition!!! and since you know i can dunk it i had to pull a chair up to do it! i attempted 2 times and just slipped off the rim and fell on the floor then on the last time i was getting pumped up!!!!! i got e. hannamen to slap me in the face three times really hard then i ran with the basketball and running and screaming i jumped off the chair dunked it!!! and to add more to the effect i decided to hold on the rim!!! and as soon as i did the momentum from the run was still moving forward and so i slipped off the rim and was falling straight down on my ead as my legs were in the air! but dont worry i made sure to stick my right arm out to take the blow!!! next thing i know it snapped my ehole zone stopped i grabbed my arm said i broke it and laughed it out. got a blessing and went straight to the emergency room st 4 oclock and got checked in and worked on at 1 in the morning haha. it was awesome!!! and while they put me under to set it back into place they put me on some crazzy druggs and e. rivers can testify to you all that the whole time i was out, i tought them everything about the book of mormon and about the restoration!! it was sick!!!!!!! got the nurses adresss and we are going to visit him soon!!!

got home around 4am and got 1 hour sleep and went to work the next day because of transfers and still i havent made up any sleeep haha im feeling it. i still cant move my fingers much but im fine. this week was bomb ill tell u all next week my laptop dies in 3 min. so love you all it was an awesome week!!!!!!!!
